Located in the historic Stotlar house at 705 W. Main Street in Carbondale. Our goal is to get used books back into the hands of interested readers. As a university community, we have streams of books from various academic fields, in addition to books reflecting the broad interests of the area residents.

Come in and browse – many books are not listed on the website: they sell for $2 (children’s and small paperbacks) or $3 (the whole gamut). We don’t buy books or even give credit, but we do accept all donations of books – sight unseen – and try to find good homes for all of them. Many are re-donated or sold at our Buck-a-Book table at the farmers market (where proceeds benefit a local charity).
